New edition of LEGO Club Magazine

I hate how they've changed it so boys get a boyish mag and girls get LEGO Friends. I'm a tomboy and prefered the old version which had news on everything LEGO-related and not just girly stuff. Still there's some cool competitions (by post!) I might enter....

Stickeh sticky!

I recieved a reply from an email (yes, I know, it's not like me) which I didn't think Blue Peter had read. Anyway, I have some Blue Peter stickers now. Quite pleasant after a hard day at jail, erm, I mean school. Sorry, can't tell the difference.

Pain Easing Up

I've experienced death many times before, my dad, my nan, my "uncle" Gordon, my mum's friends......
I'm numb with sadness. If somebody came and poked me in the stomach I probably wouldn't care. I miss Leonie so much....

So the pain got better when a letter arrived from Newsround with some signed photos of the team (Leah, Ore, Ricky and Hayley) WITH DEDICATION! That means they wouldn't be wanted by many others, though, because Robyn isn't a common name xD!

Still so much guilt inside. I hope Leonie's having fun in Heaven. Rest In Peace, honey. God ran out of Angels. Sleep tight xx

Mixed Emotions

Sadly, a girl called Leonie passed away at our school on Tuesday.
I came home that day shocked and shaken, but I found out I had got the 50th Anniversary Blue Peter Badge I was buying through the post.
I can't help feeling guilt for Leonie, she was so lovely and beautiful, kind to all. She was loved. She didn't deserve to die.....

Postal Presence!

I posted not 1 not 2 but 3, yes 3  items through the letterbox today.

They were:

One for Newsround (to try and get some signed photos of the team)
2 for Blue Peter (though 1 isn't actually addressed to Blue Peter!)

Lets hope I recieve replies soon!

Brother's Belated Birthday Bonanza!

Written in my notebook yesterday!

I actually recieved 2 peices of post yesterday (mum gets really excited now and can't wait for me to come home from school and open them xD!)
The other peice of mail came from my brother who lives in Australia. In it was a card and a £25 voucher to spend at WHSmiths, one of my fave stores!!!
Can't wait till Saturday, and as it's World Book Week, even better! I'm totally treating myself after drama club!

Why CBBC Remains My Fave!

I love CBBC.
I love the shows, I love the presenters, I love that it's BRITISH!

Being a big fan of CBBC, and having many things to do with the channel (my pic was Kennel Pic of The Week and I've had my emails read out on the show too!) when it was their 10th birthday on the 11th Feb (and strangely I was 12 on the 13th, get the pattern? :) ooh....) so I of course I sent them a birthday card. Yesterday I recieved a lovely reply and autographs of Iain, Yonko, Hacker and Dodge, all GENUINE HANDSIGNED!!!

Cool, huh? ;)

Letter From Sainsburys!

I wrote this in my notebook on 24th Feb. 2012

After hearing about 3 yr old Lily Robinson's letter to Sainsburys and her awesome acheivement (see here!) I decided to have a go myself. I wrote suggesting a bread that included both brown and white slices for families that like different bread. I called it "Zebra Bread Loaf". I recieved a lovely reply...

I even recieved a £2 gift card!

Cards For My Birthday

My b-day was on 13th of February and I turned 12. I put in many posts in my notebook before AND after my birthday due to the amount of cards I got via post. SO INSTEAD I will put some that I wrote down all in one blog:

Valentines Day - No admirers (boo!) but a birthday card from Mum's friend Beverley

22nd (I think- didn't have time to write that day!) Feb. 2012 - From Mr.White, the headteacher. Everyone at my school gets one on their birthday through the post. It's always the same design ("Happy Birthday" in different languages) and with Mr.White's sig.

It was a very fun birthday too! KFC in town with my 2 besties and a giant spend spend spend!! :D

The Blog is Up!

Brill! I've finally got the blog up and ready. It's basically a virtual version of what I log down in my shiney blue notebook in my room. It has all of the letters I recieve. Some blog posts will have earlier dates on because that was the original date for them, so sometimes you have to ignore the ACTUAL present day it was written.
